WHY we need this DAMN “MULLAPERIYAR” DAM.....? KERALA HAS NO BENEFITS FROM THIS DAM !!
> Only tamilnadu benefits from this dam. (they make use of our water for electricity, irregation,recreation,etc...)
> We store water for them and we live in fear.
> Let them deviate the water from mullaperiyar(by making a canal) and build a dam in their state. so within few months we can make this mullaperiyar as a check dam. so that we can live safe and sound.
> Since idukki reffers to a seimic zone ie. frequent earth quakes can be expected, so why should we call for dissaster by bulding a new dam in this zone.
